Critical Illness Insurance

Critical Illness insurance provides additional financial resources to help pay for the added personal, family or business expenses which often accompany a critical illness or condition. These expenses may include the cost of:

  • Modifying your home
  • Purchasing a wheelchair or other specialized equipment
  • Hiring a nurse, housekeeper or childcare provider
  • Seeking timely or non-insured treatment outside Canada
  • Paying outstanding loans or mortgages
  • Replacing a key employee or hiring additional staff

Health and disability insurance may cover some of these expenses but not all. Savings and loans could be used but doing so would create an additional financial burden for you, your family or business. Wouldn’t it be comforting to know that you had additional funding in place to survive a critical illness or condition?
